Tiree Dawson is one of the finest photographers in the Lake District. She has a fantastic relaxed and informal style. I have the pleasure of working at several weddings with Tiree and her work always astounds me. She doesn't just take photos, she creates a visual history of your memories. She’s also just a total sweetheart! Loads of the action shots of me performing on this site were taken by Tiree, she’s a great addition to anyones day.
Lina and Tom are definitely my favourite wedding photography power-couple! I've lost count of the number of awards they've won for their incredible work. They really manage to get beneath the surface of what makes you a unique couple and their photos shine with a real natural beauty. Their ability to just blend into your day and get creative, documentary photos of you and your guests is something that makes their work truly stand out.
Chris Freer is a fabulous photographer for weddings in the Lakes and surrounding area. Immediately recognisable with his brilliant bowtie, Chris is heaps of fun and has the experience to make your day perfect. He has a really relaxed, natural and non-invasive style that just helps capture the best moments of your perfect day. He’s also just the nicest guy!

Solo Musicians
Fiona Hanlon is one of the best singers the Lake District has to offer. She has a unique style to her singing and has been a musician all her life. Most importantly, Fiona is more than just a singer. Fiona really has the character to keep your guests entertained. Weddings really mean a lot to Fiona and she puts a lot of time and effort into making sure she has the perfect songs for your day. Simply the friendliest person you'll meet in the Lakes, Fiona is available either solo with her guitar or as a full band.
Annemarie Quinn is a fantastic singer-songwriter from the heart of the Lake District. Annemarie writes simply beautiful songs which you can hear on her website. Her music has a charm that can only come from being inspired by her Lake District surroundings. She provides the perfect musical accompaniment to your drinks reception or evening party and can learn any song you request.
Nice Touches
Lauren Young is an absolute gem. You can hire her to create bespoke stationary for your wedding which will really stand out but where I think she really comes into her own is as a live wedding illustrator. She can set up wherever you would like at your wedding venue and have guests pose for her and she will illustrate them live. Her work is absolutely stunning and creates a totally unique and personal keepsake for your guests. Definitely check out her word!
Bands and DJ’s
The Groove Cutters are quite simply the coolest wedding band in the North-West. They play funk & soul with all the energy of James Brown. With a range of music from romantic soul ballads to upbeat dancefloor fillers. If you want your guests dancing, clapping and stomping their feet then this is the band to book. The full band creates a fantastic atmosphere. It's not uncommon to see that grumpy uncle you thought would never boogie end up spending the whole night on the dancefloor...
Gary Mills really knows how to get the party started. He’s been rocking weddings for as long as I can remember and always knows how to set the perfect tone for the day. He’s picked up countless awards for his skills and is always super charismatic and just an all around top bloke. Honestly, you can’t go wrong.
Simon Vogt is a killer DJ and really knows how to get the party started! He’s been filling dancefloors for years and really knows how to help you plan the perfect wedding. You won’t be disappointed! He knows how to make everyone happy from gran to the kids, whatever you need!
