The Fairly Famous Family
The Fairly Famous Family is a fantastic street theatre company that I frequently do work for. They have been touring outdoor performances for about 20 years now and have performed all over the world from the Glastonbury Festival to the Millennium Dome, the Eurovision Song Contest and even in front of the Queen! Jesters
For a long time this was my favourite little joke and magic shop, hiding away in Ambleside. Nowadays, Andy and Kelly run the store online so they can focus more on hosting circus workshops and performing their incredible juggling acts. If you fancy learning a trick or two yourself, then check out their online store or give them a call if you want to book them for an event!
Astral Circus
The fantastic Astral Circus is run by Stuart, a good friend of mine with a heart of gold. Astral Circus was established over 15 years ago and since then has achieved great things. As well as performing shows ranging from fire-juggling to tightrope walking and stilt characters, Stuart and the team are also qualified to teach circus skills in schools, youth clubs and at festivals. Astral Circus also has the most beautiful Marquee (available for commercial hire) that I have ever seen…
Jamie Cook
Much to my jealousy, my younger brother, Jamie, is an incredible musician, performing songs he has written himself as well as contemporary covers on his guitar and ukulele. Andrea is a fantastic photographer living in the Lakes, perfect for weddings or family photos. She travels far and wide to shoot beautiful portraits in a relaxed, informal style. Check out her portfolio to see her incredible work. I strongly recommend her!

I met Dave through a mutual love of incredible music. Dave has a wicked band and makes some pretty special music. Check him out, buy his music, go see him live, die happy.
Fiona Hanlon
Fiona is a good friend of mine who plays wonderful music all around the lakes. Playing everything from The Beatles to Lady Gaga, I can guarantee you that she already knows your favourite song! She’s available for hire for parties, celebrations, weddings and gigs whether you’re looking for her full band or just a solo acoustic performance. She’s also constantly playing free shows in plenty of pubs and bars all around the Lakes. Go check her out!
